Supporters of the Qadiani leader claim that he fulfilled many prophecies from Islamic and other religious traditions about the Messiah and Mahdi. They point to his writings, visions, debates, and reform efforts as evidence of divine support.
They argue that the Messiah’s return was always meant to be symbolic, not physical, and that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad embodied the spiritual role of Jesus in the modern age. This view allows them to uphold the belief in Muhammad (pbuh) as the Seal of the Prophets.
Critics, however, insist that these prophecies refer to the literal return of Jesus. The tension between these interpretations has long defined the opposition faced by the Qadiani community.
