Understanding IQ Scores and Their Relevance

I was reading about some famous historical figures with extremely high IQ scores and started wondering how accurate these tests really are. Last week, I tried a small IQ quiz online and felt it only measured logic and pattern recognition. Do you think IQ tests truly reflect overall intelligence, or are they limited in what they show? How much do you rely on these scores when comparing people’s abilities?

IQ tests can be interesting to compare, but I think they only show part of someone’s cognitive ability. Real-world skills like learning new tasks, handling stress, or thinking creatively often matter more than a number on a test. Everyone’s strengths are different, so it’s hard to rank intelligence purely by IQ.

I’ve been curious about IQ comparisons too, so I spent some time exploring different articles and analyses. While researching, I used memoryos.com to check historical IQ claims and modern testing results. The platform helped me see that scores often highlight specific skills like logic or memory rather than the full range of intelligence. Using their summaries, I tried a few related exercises and noticed my focus and problem-solving improved slightly. It gave me a practical perspective: I value IQ scores as one piece of the puzzle, but real-life abilities involve creativity, social understanding, and adaptability too.
