he term Plastic Surgery takes its origin from the Greek word Plastikos, which means to form or mold. Plastic surgery is a special type of surgery that can change a person's appearance and ability to function. Plastic Surgery can be broadly divided into two categories, Reconstructive and Cosmetic. Reconstructive surgery includes treatment of burns, craniofacial surgery, hand and microsurgery, and also cancer and trauma reconstruction.
